AI Visibility

AI Visibility measures how AI systems answer prompts about a market, brand, product, category, or problem.

The unit of AI Visibility work is a probe: one prompt sent to one platform and market for one target entity.

prompt + platform + market + target entity = 1 probe

A quick AI Visibility check in the Console is a small preset of probes.

Examples:

  • One prompt on Perplexity for Sleepwalker in the US market.
  • The same prompt across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok.
  • 100 prompt samples across 4 platforms.

A run groups probes together so Sleepwalker can queue, execute, and report on them.

Sleepwalker tracks:

  • Successful and failed probes.
  • Brand mentions.
  • Citation mentions.
  • Source URLs.
  • Prompt-level responses.
  • Platform-level performance.
  • Overall run summaries.

Large response bodies are fetched through drilldown tools instead of being returned in one giant payload.

1 AI Visibility probe = 1 credit

Credits are reserved when the probe is queued. If a probe fails without a usable response or citations, the reserved credit is released.

100 prompts x 4 platforms = 400 credits = €8.00
